Anyone with a non-law degree doing law?

Hi all, I was reading about the "new" route to become a lawyer through SQE prep courses (PgDL) and MA Law. On one hand, it's made me more inclined to do a degree in STEM before going through that route, but I was wondering if there were any others who'd done it and how their experience was with it ? And of course, if there's anything I should know about it and whether it's better to do an LLB instead ? Thanks !
